Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable CDL B Driver with Airbrakes to join our waste management team in Tulsa. The CDL B Driver with Airbrakes will operate refuse collection vehicles to collect residential and commercial waste and recyclables safely and efficiently. As a CDL B Driver with Airbrakes, you’ll play an essential role in supporting community services while ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rear-load, side-load, or front-load garbage trucks equipped with airbrakes
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for waste collection
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of waste materials
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, mileage, and fuel usage
• Adhere to local, state, and federal DOT regulations
• Provide courteous customer service and report service issues
• Assist with minor truck maintenance and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL B driving experience (must be listed on resume for insurance purposes)
• Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Excellent time management and communication skills
