Pay: $18–$22/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift:
• Training: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Regular Schedule: Night Shift | 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM
(Must be open to working both shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team in Broken Arrow, OK. This role involves sandblasting, cleaning, and painting compressors and various industrial equipment under limited supervision. All candidates must successfully complete an onsite skills test prior to hire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment and prepare equipment for painting
• Mix all types of paint systems and apply coatings per customer and company specifications
• Operate sandblasting equipment according to customer and company standards
• Mask and feather old paint surfaces in preparation for new coatings
• Perform Dry Film Thickness (DFT) readings, Psychrometer readings, and Surface Temperature readings
• Follow all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) guidelines
• Frequently operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts
• Exhibit flexibility to assist in other departments when needed

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of related industrial painting experience
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, including scissor lifts, cranes, and forklifts

Preferred Education

• High school diploma

Physical Demands

• Constantly inspect and paint equipment while climbing stairs or ladders, maintaining balance without assistance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to all weather conditions and unairconditioned environments
• Frequent movement including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and maintaining different body positions in tight or confined spaces
• Must wear all required PPE, including a full-face mask
