Pay: $24/hour
Shift/Hours: Days, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available; occasional Saturdays)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring plant reliability and safety. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with mechanical tasks, facility upkeep, and general maintenance needs across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, lighting, and wiring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Assist with installation and upgrades of electrical components and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery (motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems).
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and electrical emergencies.
• Support general mechanical and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Experience using hand and power tools for electrical work.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks.
• Flexible availability for different shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and climbing during the shift.
• Capable of working in various factory conditions (hot, cold, or noisy areas).
• Good hand dexterity for using tools and performing repairs.
