Job Title: Shop Helper
Location: Sapulpa, OK
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $17.00/hr
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Shop Helper to support fabrication operations in a dynamic and safety-sensitive environment. This position involves working alongside craftsmen and assisting in various shop tasks. The ideal candidate will be motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a hands-on role.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen with tasks as directed.
• Work around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, automated machinery, and other potentially hazardous equipment.
• Consistently meet the company’s productivity and quality standards as defined by work instructions.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Uphold 5S organizational and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with the team to complete project assignments efficiently and professionally.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Basic fabrication shop experience preferred.
• Proficiency with overhead cranes and power tools.
• Ability to read and write basic shop communications.
• Capable of using a shop tape measure accurately.
• Willingness and ability to learn to read shop drawings and understand bill of materials.
• Positive attitude with a desire to gain new skills and grow within the company.
