Pay: $16 – $18 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join a Tulsa-based company producing sheet metal components in a climate-controlled facility. This role primarily involves operating saws and drills to mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind parts from the laser operator’s table, then moving completed parts to the next operation. The Fabrication Operator will play an important role in ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency in daily production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws and drills to cut, tap, sand, deburr, and grind parts.
• Process components from the laser operator’s table and move them to the next operation.
• Use hand and power tools to perform fabrication tasks.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
• Work independently while supporting team-oriented production goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience.
• Proven industrial saw experience required.
• Proficiency with grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tapes.
• Experience operating industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform quick math calculations when needed.
• Must be team-oriented and self-sufficient.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• This is a safety-sensitive position due to handling hazardous materials, operating machinery, and working with power tools.
• Requires frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing (approx. 95% of the shift).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry parts 10–15 feet, and move/push/pull materials as needed.
• Must sometimes work in limited or confined spaces around machines.
• Lifting devices and team lifting should be used when possible.
