Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.50/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift Premium: Includes an 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and driven individuals to join a growing team of Assembly Technicians in Tulsa. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, motivated to grow within the company, and focused on delivering quality results. Technicians will review work orders, gather required parts, and assist in the assembly of new products while gaining exposure to testing procedures and techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Use hand and power tools to build or repair products and components
• Interpret and follow technical documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Meet all safety requirements in compliance with company and industry standards
• Identify and resolve problems as they arise
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of products and services
• Document test procedures, data, and observations
• Perform electrical wiring and rivet components together as needed
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Proven experience with electrical wiring and mechanical assemblies
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must meet established production schedules and quality standards
• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs as required
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This is classified as a safety-sensitive position, which involves performing one or more of the following tasks that could affect the safety of the employee or others:
• Handling, storing, transporting, or disposing of hazardous materials
• Operating vehicles, machinery, or power tools
• Monitoring and repairing manufacturing equipment, where failures could result in injury or property damage
• Maintaining or overseeing critical infrastructure such as power, gas, or water systems
• Working with or around volatile, flammable, or combustible substances
Approximately 95% of the work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while performing assembly tasks, inspecting work, and monitoring procedures.
