Pay: $18/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00pm - 3:30am (OT as needed)

Position Summary:
The Fintube Helper assists in the production, handling, and maintenance of finned tube bundles used in air-cooled heat exchangers. This role supports finning operations, section assembly, and quality control under supervision to ensure efficient production flow and adherence to safety standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist in finning operations to support daily production schedules.
• Support tube cleaning and preparation: aid in cleaning fin tubes using compressed air in reverse airflow, removing debris for optimal heat transfer.
• Material Handling: assist with lifting, moving, and staging bundles and sections.
• Inspection and maintenance aid: help in routine inspection of headers, plugs, and bundled tubes; facilitate a clean, unclogged tube surface.
• Support assembly and repairs: assist technicians with plug replacement, tube re-rolling, header maintenance, and bundle replacement or repair operations.
• Maintain a clean workspace and help enforce safety and environmental protocols typical for a Fintube Helper role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift heavy bundles and work in a factory setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools/equipment.
• Team oriented, with reliability and focus on safety.
• Willingness to work with compressed air cleaning hydraulic tools and assist in inspections.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50lbs+ as needed.
• Stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl for extended periods of time as needed.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, as is typical for a Fintube Helper position.
