Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Align and Grout/Teardown Technician for a leading manufacturer in East Tulsa. This dual-role position focuses on the precision alignment and grouting of major equipment on gas compressor packages, as well as the teardown of equipment for shipping. The Align and Grout/Teardown Technician plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of each compressor unit by applying mechanical skills, welding expertise, and attention to detail.

Required Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in equipment alignment, teardown, or related industrial roles preferred
• Proficiency with laser levels and alignment tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of compressor systems
• Familiarity with MIG and flux-core welding techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As an Align and Grout/Teardown Technician, your responsibilities will include:
• Installing major equipment on compressor skids
• Using precision alignment tools and laser-leveling instruments
• Performing MIG and flux-core welding
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications
• Disassembling gas compressor packages and components for shipping
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes
• Maintaining tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and teammates
• Following all company safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Demonstrating reliability through punctuality and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ with or without assistance
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Able to bend, kneel, and climb as required
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
