Brake Press Operator

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $17–$20/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Shift may vary to 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM)
➡️ Second shift receives an 11.5% shift premium

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Brake Press Operator to join our team at a new, state-of-the-art climate-controlled facility specializing in tight-tolerance sheet metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will be experienced in CNC press brake operations and open to working flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC hydraulic press brake equipment to bend metal plates.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal/written instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety standards.
• Use critical thinking to identify and solve problems during production.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Minimize material waste through efficient production practices.
• Deburr parts as needed and ensure quality standards are met.
• Load programs from external sources or enter them manually without assistance.
• Select appropriate punches, dies, and tooling required for each job.

• TRUMPF
• ACCUPRESS
• BYSTRONIC
• CINCINNATI

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience using hand and power tools.
• Must own or be willing to purchase a basic tool set and locking toolbox.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.

• Certified 12” Caliper
• Tape Measure
• Protractors
