Job Title: Buyer
Job Type: Contract – 6 Months
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Pay: $21/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on company needs)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and analytical Buyer to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices while ensuring high quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, be data-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing and terms
• Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement process from order to delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs
• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, production, logistics) to determine material requirements
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain productive vendor relationships
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make data-driven purchasing decisions
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and applicable regulations
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or material shortages

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret and analyze data, trends, and performance metrics

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Must have peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Moderate noise level in the work environment
