Fixtures Preventative

Pay: $28/hour
Location: Catoosa
Shift: 4 days on / 4 days off, day and night shifts available (assigned by supervisor upon hire)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fixtures Preventative technician to join our maintenance team in Catoosa. The Fixtures Preventative role is responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance, servicing equipment, and ensuring all fixtures and machinery operate at peak efficiency to support production processes.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Mechanic Tech
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical certification preferred
• Hands-on experience with lathes, milling machines, shear machines, press brakes, and welding heads
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and documentation practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Basic welding and fabrication knowledge preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is a plus

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on fixtures and production machinery
• Inspect and service lathes, milling machines, shear machines, press brakes, and paint booths
• Maintain welding heads and related components to support fabrication operations
• Identify and replace worn parts, performing minor repairs to prevent downtime
• Document maintenance activities and inspections accurately
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on equipment upgrades
• Operate rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and align parts to tolerance
• Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines as a Fixtures Preventative technician

Preferred Education

• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance
