SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its manufacturing client in Columbus, NE. The person will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and machinery are well-maintained, reducing operational downtime, and supporting production needs through strong leadership and hands-on support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Supervise the upkeep and operation of equipment and production systems.
• Organize and assign maintenance tasks to ensure timely repairs and minimal production delays.
• Lead, support, and evaluate maintenance team members, including involvement in hiring and corrective actions.
• Ensure effective maintenance practices are followed and aligned with safety and operational goals.
• Review and troubleshoot recurring mechanical or electrical issues and develop long-term solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Coordinate with production teams to align maintenance schedules with output requirements.
• Step in to assist with technical repairs and maintenance work when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field or or equivalent practical experience in maintenance operations.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems preferred.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard computer tools.
