Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hour per week

Vacant: 2

Benefits: 4% of gross salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation

Language: English

Duties:

• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Advice compatible hairstyle to client’s appearance
• Provide basic treatment or advice treatment after analyzing client’s condition
• Shampoo and rinse client’s hair
• Take phone calls and confirm appointments
• Keep track of supplies and inform stock for reorder
• Available to use special machines or equipment for special perms such as digital perm, straight perm
• Supervise and train apprentice hairstylists

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of Secondary school is required
• Experience: Completion of a two or three year hairstyling apprenticeship program or a college or other program in hairstyling

Or,

At least 3-5 years of experience in hairstyling industry is required

Trade Certification for hairstylist is mandatory.
