Job Title: Furniture Mover

Wage: C$22.00/hour

Working Hours: 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week

Benefit: 4% vacation pay

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: 115-9 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB R0G 1N0

Language: No language requirements

Job Duties:

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of furniture or related materials with appropriate protective measures.
• Lift and move household appliances and items using hands or basic tools.
• Weigh, sort, count, package, and unpack items being transported based on their categories.
• Ensure the standardized placement of furniture and office equipment as instructed.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Promptly sort and dispose of garbage at the end of each moving task.
• Perform other relevant moving tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experienced in moving or performing similar job tasks.
• Possess a healthy physique, able to lift heavy objects all day.
• Demonstrate punctuality and maintain a professional attitude.
• Preferably graduated high school or obtained equivalent education.
• Hold a valid driver's license for added advantage.
