Job Description:

- Number of work hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

- Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

- Benefit: 4% gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation, extended medical insurance after 6 months of employment.

Job Duties:

• Operate and drive two axles weighing less than 4,600 kg trucks to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short interurban routes.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment and loading and unloading of cargo.
• Drop off transported goods and materials to the designated location of business.
• Track and record of transported goods and material.
• Check and inspect goods and materials are secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.

Job Requirements:

-  Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

-  Experience: No formal experience is required as on-job training is provided. Experience is an asset.

-  Class 5 Driver’s License is required. (Class 1 or 3,

1. Class 5 with Air Brake Endorsement would be considered a strong asset)

-   A clean driving history of most recent 1 years is required.
